Yesterday saw the opening of a new photo exhibition that pays tribute to women in pop and rock at Strand Gallery in London.

She Bop A Lula features over 60 photographs of the women who made this genre what it is.

The exhibition, which opened in time for International Women's Day, features clips of leading ladies including    Beyonce, Tina Turner, Debbie Harry, Diana Ross, Siouxise Sioux, Amy Winehouse and many more.

All the images were taken by female photographers who agreed to donate them to the exhibition.

The exhibition is free and is open until 1 April.

All profits from the sales will be donated to Breakthrough, a breast cancer charity.
